Sec. 16.63. Miscellaneous and special types of radiation producing equipment

Types or uses of radiation producing equipment not specifically covered by this Part and not exempted in section 16.4 of this Part, and such other types or uses of radiation producing equipment as may be designated by the department shall be governed by special inspection or surveys by the department. Such special inspections or surveys by the department shall, with respect to the radiation producing equipment so inspected or surveyed, substitute for the inspections required by paragraph (1) of subdivision (a) of section 16.10 of this Part.
