Sec. 23.1. List of sexually transmitted diseases

- The following are groups of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and shall constitute the definition of sexually transmitted diseases for the purpose of this Part and section 2311 of the Public Health Law:Group AFacilities referred to in section 23.2 of this Part must provide diagnosis and treatment as provided in section 23.2(c) of this Part for the following STDs:Chlamydia trachomatis infectionGonorrheaSyphilisNon-gonococcal Urethritis (NGU)Non-gonococcal (mucopurulent) CervicitisTrichomoniasisLymphogranuloma VenereumChancroidGranuloma InguinaleGroup BFacilities referred to in section 23.2 of this Part must provide diagnosis and treatment, including prevention services, as provided in section 23.2(d) of this Part for the following STDs:Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)Genital Herpes SimplexHuman Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)Group CFacilities referred to in section 23.2 of this Part must provide diagnosis and treatment as provided in section 23.2(e) of this Part for the following STD:Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) Gonococcal/Non-gonococcalGroup DFacilities referred to in section 23.2 of this Part must provide diagnosis and treatment as provided in section 23.2(f) of this Part for the following STDs:Yeast (Candida) VaginitisBacterial VaginosisPediculosis PubisScabies
