Sec. 6-3.5. Permit for operation

- (a) No municipality, school district, person, group of persons, firm, corporation, association, organization or institution shall operate or maintain or permit the use of any spray ground and other related facilities without a permit from the permit-issuing official to be issued subject to the provisions of this Chapter and such additional sanitary or safety safeguards as may be required by the permit-issuing official. The permit shall be posted conspicuously at the facility.(b) Application for a permit shall be made to the permit-issuing official at least 45 days before the expiration of a permit or at least 45 days before the opening of any spray ground. Such application shall include a written safety plan as described in section 6-3.22(c) of this Subpart.
