Sec. 82-2.5. Limitations on non-state sources of funding

- A health systems agency may enter into agreements and contracts with and receive grant funds, contributions or donations from such entities as:(a) local, county, and state governments;(b) not-for-profit organizations exempt from taxation pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of title 26 of the United States Code, private industry, insurers of health services, and other organizations, excluding, however, any such entities that are providers of health care operating facilities licensed or certified pursuant to the Public Health Law or Mental Hygiene Law except as may be authorized in accordance with section 82-1.6(e)(1) of this Part; and(c) associations of health facilities or associations of providers of health care.
