This Part shall apply to every authorized life and accident and health insurer, and to every authorized property/casualty insurer with respect to its accident and health insurance policies. This Part shall not apply to assumption reinsurance, yearly renewable term reinsurance or nonproportional reinsurance which is, or is substantially similar to, stop loss or catastrophe reinsurance.
