Sec. 45-3.4. Special requirements

- (a) Daily inspection.Prior to permitting the public to ride on any slide, the slide supervisor or a duly authorized attendant shall inspect the entire length of each slide so as to ascertain whether any damage has been incurred since the last period of operation.(b) Prohibited operation.No slide shall be operated until any damage found during the daily inspection which could affect the safety of the passengers is corrected.(c) Operating personnel.The following personnel shall be in attendance whenever a slide is in operation:(1) a slide starter;(2) slide attendants as required by sections 45-3.5(c), 45-3.6(e) and 45-3.7(f) of this Subpart.(d) Passenger tramway operations.Passenger tramways, used in conjunction with slides, shall meet all applicable requirements of Industrial Code Rule 32, “Ski Tows and Other Passenger Tramways.”
