Sec. 8-2.11. Closed doors or gates

All hoistway doors or gates shall be kept closed.
Exceptions:
(1) At a landing while used for operating and for loading and unloading. (2) Fire doors when held open by fusible link where permitted in subdivision (f) of section 8-2.18.
