Sec. 65.10. Computing time

- (a) In computing the time period for filing a paper under these rules, the day the period begins to run is not included. The last day of the period is included, unless it is a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, in which case, the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday.(b) If a period of time prescribed by these rules is measured from the service of any paper other than a petition, and service is by mail, five days shall be added to the prescribed period.(c) If a period of time prescribed by these rules is measured from the service of any paper other than a petition, and service is by overnight delivery, one day shall be added to the prescribed period.
