The request for postponement must state the reason or reasons postponement should be granted.(c) Objections to a request for postponement of a scheduled hearing, if any, must be promptly filed with the board with proof of service.(d) No postponement is allowed without the board’s approval, and the board’s approval may, where a request for postponement was not timely made, and no emergency or unusual circumstances otherwise excuse the untimely request, be contingent on payment of reasonable costs incurred by the board caused by a party’s failure to make a timely request for postponement.
