Sec. 65.61. Ex parte communications prohibited

- (a) Ex parte communication is prohibited with respect to the merits of any case between any party to a proceeding and any employee, officer, or member of the board.(b) If any employee, officer, or member of the board receives an ex parte communication concerning the merits of a case, the employee, officer or member of the board must promptly disclose the communication and place it on the record of the proceeding, with any party wishing to rebut the ex parte communication given the opportunity to do so.
