Sec. 258.2. Voluntary interest arbitration

- (a) In the event that an employer and a labor organization agree to submit any unresolved issue in bargaining to interest arbitration, they may jointly request the assistance of the board in providing for such arbitration by a letter directed to the director of conciliation.(b) The written request shall be accompanied by a copy of the submission.(c) An arbitrator shall be designated pursuant to the selection process established by the director of conciliation, which process will give the parties an opportunity to participate in the selection of the arbitrator.
