Sec. 595.3. Applicability

(a) This Part applies to any provider of services which operates or proposes to operate a residential program for persons with mental illness and is licensed pursuant to article 31 of the Mental Hygiene Law, including the Community Residence for Eating Disorder Integrated Treatment (“CREDIT”) Program.
(b) This Part does not apply to any provider of services which operates or proposes to operate a residential program for children or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.
(c) This Part does not apply to family care homes.
