Part 603. Public Access to Records Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Law |
Sec. 603.7. Fees

- (a) Except where fees are established by law, rule or regulation, no fee shall be charged for:(1) inspection of a record;(2) record searches; or(3) certification (see section 603.13[a] of this Part) pursuant to this Part.(b) The fee for photocopying records available pursuant to this Part shall be 25 cents per single-sided page.(c) Fees shall be paid in full prior to issuance of copies, transcripts or their certification.(d) Payment shall be made in the form of a check, bank draft or money order payable to the “New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities” or, if personally delivered, may be made in cash for which a receipt shall be given.(e) A fee may be waived or reduced at the discretion of the records access officer.
