Sec. 91.1. Introduction

Section 207 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law authorizes the commissioner to prescribe the form of ticket and simplified traffic information to be used in all traffic violation cases (except parking), and to establish administrative control over the disposition thereof. Under the provisions of such section, the commissioner may require trial courts having jurisdiction of traffic cases to report as to the disposition thereof, and may limit the application of rules and regulations, promulgated to administer and enforce the provisions of section 207, so as to include or exclude specific violations.
