Sec. 720-6.6. Steam fuel adjustment clauses generally

(a) Where provisions are made in steam schedules for automatic adjustments of rates because of changes in cost of fuel, public utilities may elect to file statements to their schedules in lieu of amendments. Such statements shall not be a part of the schedule and shall not bear a leaf designation. Statements to each schedule shall be numbered consecutively, for example: “Statement No. 1 to P.S.C. No. 1,” and “Statement No. 2 to P.S.C. No. 1.”

(b) A copy of the effective statement shall be kept available with each schedule to which it applies and may be attached to the schedule. Statements shall follow all leaves and supplements which are part of the schedule.

(c) Every such statement shall be filed not less than three days prior to the date on which it is proposed to be effective.
