Sec. 134.11. Permit issuance annual limitation

(a) The department may issue a maximum of 250 permits annually for advertising sign structure pursuant to this Part, unless an acute need for additional permits is identified by the Commissioner of Transportation pursuant to subdivision (b) of this section.
(b) The annual limitation may be increased upon a determination by the department that the additional annual permits for vegetation should be issued on an individual basis upon demonstration of acute need.
