Sec. 162.2. Maintenance; method of performing controlled blasting operations

Every county and town highway superintendent shall comply with the requirements contained in 12 NYCRR 39.7 with regard to blasting operations, and with the requirements contained in 12 NYCRR Part 12 relating to the possession, handling, storage and transportation of explosives (also known as Industrial Code 39 of the Department of Labor, Board of Standards and Appeals) in the performance of blasting operations for the improvement or maintenance of highways and bridges under his jurisdiction.
