Sec. 345.5. Notification to applicants

(a) If an application for services is rejected by the department for not meeting the requirements set forth in section 345.4 of this Part, the applicant shall be notified of the rejection in writing by the department. The notice shall specify the reason(s) for the rejection.
(b) Applicants who are custodial parents of minor children shall be advised of the availability of support collection and enforcement services through their local district support collection unit, pursuant to section 111-g of the Social Services Law and section 347.17 of this Title.
