Sec. 207.15. Event and date specific licenses/approvals for licensed promoters

- (a) A licensed promoter shall make application to the commission for approval of the date on which a professional boxing or professional mixed martial arts event is scheduled or contemplated to be scheduled at least 60 days prior thereto, unless otherwise authorized by the commission upon good cause shown. Such application shall be made on a form provided by the commission and shall include:(1) the authorized combative sport to be featured;(2) the location of the event, including the name, address and seating capacity of the facility;(3) an assurance of appropriate financial, medical, organizational and operational capacity and controls for the contemplated bouts, contests, matches or exhibitions; and(4) an assurance of timely completion and submission of all required applications, contracts and other documents or materials required by the commission.(b) A licensed promoter granted approval for an event date must submit timely and complete applications for match approvals and event information forms in the form and manner directed by the commission.(c) The commission reserves the right, in its discretion, to limit the number of professional boxing and professional mixed martial arts events per month, the number of match proposed for any specific event, to deny requests that would result in multiple events on the same date, and to deny any request as deemed necessary to ensure the proper regulation and administration of each event.
