Sec. 63.5. Importation of feeder swine

- Feeder swine to be eligible for importation into New York State must meet the following requirements:(a) Be accompanied by an approved health certificate and be individually identified.(b) For pseudorabies:(1) originate from a pseudorabies class IV or free state; or(2) originate from a pseudorabies qualified negative herd; or(3) originate from a pseudorabies monitored herd; or(4) be individually tested and found negative for pseudorabies within 30 days prior to shipment.Such swine shall be held separate and apart from all breeding swine. Proof of slaughter shall be provided by the owner upon request.
