- Definitions of “culls” as applied to potatoes: Any lot of potatoes which contains:(a) more than two percentum of potatoes which are frozen, or affected by soft rot or wet breakdown.(b) more than five percentum in the aggregate which are frozen, or affected by southern bacterial wilt, ring rot, late blight, soft rot or wet breakdown.(c) more than a total of 15 percentum by weight of potatoes which fail to meet the requirements of the No. 2 grade.
