Sec. 54.3. Transporting vessels within the Port of New York

Sandy Hook pilots, when requested to do so, are required to transport American vessels under register and foreign vessels within the Port of New York. Hudson River pilots may not transport within the Port of New York unless ice conditions preclude the boarding of vessels at the board-designated station for Hudson River pilots.
