Sec. 861.1. Water uses

Protected water uses are as prescribed by the comprehensive plan. In the interpretation and application of the standards and these regulations, the purpose of protection of such water uses shall control the meaning. It is the further purpose of this Subchapter to preserve and protect the quality of basin waters in a safe and adequate condition for the uses specified in the comprehensive plan.
