Sec. 1100.5. Prevention of unwarranted invasions of personal privacy

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Part, the commission may, prior to making records available for inspection or copying, delete such identifying details as the commission may deem appropriate to prevent an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. Without limiting the generality of the preceding sentence, and unwarranted invasion of personal privacy will be deemed otherwise to occur by the disclosure of:
    (a) Such personal matters as may have been reported in confidence to the commission and which are not relevant or essential to the ordinary work of the commission.
    (b) Employment, medical or credit histories or personal references of applicants for employment, except such records may be disclosed when the applicant has provided a written release permitting such disclosure.
