- (a) Vehicles giving off offensive or obnoxious odors.(b) Vehicles emitting an excessive amount of smoke.(c) Buses in which the number of persons standing or not occupying fixed seats exceeds 22 or one-half of the total seating capacity, whichever is less.(d) Vehicles having a tire width of less than three inches.(e) Animals, except when properly confined in vehicles.(f) Vehicles not capable of maintaining minimum speed (see speed limits, section 1202.1).(g) Vehicles using compressed flammable gases; e.g., propane, butane, blaugas, liquefied petroleum gas, acetylene, as fuel for engines, heaters or refrigeration elements.
