- (a) Class I units mean small municipal waste combustion units that are located at municipal waste combustion plants with an aggregate plant combustion capacity greater than 250 tons per day of municipal solid waste.(b) Class II units mean small municipal waste combustion units that are located at municipal waste combustion plants with an aggregate plant combustion capacity less than or equal to 250 tons per day of municipal solid waste.(c) Municipal waste combustion plant capacity means the aggregate municipal waste combustion capacity of all municipal waste combustion units at the plants that are not subject to 40 CFR 60 subparts Ea, Eb, or AAAA.(d) Small municipal waste combustion unit means a municipal waste combustion unit that has the capacity to combust at least 35 tons per day but no more than 250 tons per day of municipal solid waste.
