Sec. 895.3. Assigned classifications and standards of quality and purity

- (a) The classifications and standards of quality and purity which are hereby assigned to all fresh surface waters within the Onondaga Lake drainage basin are as set forth in table I.(b) When the waters of that portion of Onondaga Lake which are assigned to class B herein shall have been so improved as to comply with the standards of quality specified for class B, the Water Pollution Control Board at that time will give consideration to reclassification of additional areas of Onondaga Lake to class B. In respect to any other waters described in table I, whenever their qualities have been improved so as to comply with the standards assigned to them herein, the Water Pollution Control Board, upon request, will give consideration to their possible reclassification to a higher class.
