Sec. 143.2. Authority of the Director of Classification and Compensation to initiate shift pay differentials

The Director of Classification and Compensation may, on his own initiative, subject to the approval of the Director of the Budget, authorize a shift pay differential for any class (title) or series of classes in one or more areas of the State in accordance with the provisions of subdivision 6 of section 130 of the Civil Service Law.
