Sec. 8005.15. Presiding officers

- (a) Hearing officers appointed by the chairman of the State Board of Parole are authorized to conduct final revocation hearings as presiding officers.(b) A board member may act as a presiding officer at a final revocation hearing.(c) A hearing officer is authorized to:(1) administer oaths and affirmations;(2) sign and issue subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum, as regulated by the Civil Practice Law and Rules; and(3) conduct final revocation hearings and provide for adjournments thereof.
