Sec. 173.2. Civil actions against foster parents, indemnification

For purposes of saving harmless and protecting foster parents from financial loss arising out of any civil actions or judgments brought against them for alleged acts resulting in personal injury during the discharge of their duties, foster parents will be considered as employees pursuant to Executive Law, section 501-a.
