Sec. 474.2. Persons authorized to sell self-defense spray devices

Latest version.

(a) The persons authorized to sell self-defense spray devices are as follows:
(1) dealers in firearms licensed pursuant to Penal Law, section 400.00; and
(2) pharmacists licensed pursuant to article 137 of the Education Law.
(b) No more than two self-defense spray devices may be sold at any one time to a single purchaser.
