Sec. 1808.1. Conflict of interest

No officer or employee of a municipality or of a Municipal Urban Renewal Agency may engage in any act or activity which may be construed as a conflict of interest within the scope of article 18 of the General Municipal Law. In case of any question with respect thereto, inquiry should be made to municipal or agency counsel for an opinion, and duplicate originals of each such inquiry and opinion are to be submitted to the commissioner.
