    Waiver of 16 NYCRR Sections 894.1 Through 894.4
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 12/16/10, the PSC adopted an order approving the petition of the Town of Brandon (Franklin County) for waiver of the rules contained in 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4 as they apply to the Town's negotiation of an initial cable television franchise.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 216(1)
    Subject:
    Waiver of 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4.
    Purpose:
    To approve waiver of the rules contained in 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4 for an initial cable television franchise.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on December 16, 2010, adopted an order approving the petition of the Town of Brandon (Franklin County) for waiver of the rules contained in 16 NYCRR § § 894.1, 894.2, 894.3, and 894.4 as they apply to the Town's negotiation of an initial cable television franchise with SLIC Network Solutions, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
