    Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
    Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. Interested parties may inquire if they appear on the Abandoned Property Listing by contacting the Office of Unclaimed Funds, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at:

    Purpose: To obtain public comment on the draft application for the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant during FFY 2008 (October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008)

    The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has developed the State's application to the Federal Government for the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant for Federal Fiscal Year 2008 (FFY 2008). Federal statute requires states to form advisory committees to assist in the development of the application and to hold public hearings on the proposed use of funds.
    Copies of the application are available for review in the central, regional and district offices of the DOH and at the office of the chief executive officer of each county of the State and the cities of New York, Yonkers, Albany, Syracuse, Binghamton, Rochester and Buffalo.     To further publicize the hearing, please inform interested parties and organizations of the Committee's interest in hearing comments from all sources. Oral comments will be limited to 10-minute duration. In preparing the order of those making comments, the Prevent Block Advisory Committee will attempt to accommodate individual requests to speak at particular times in consideration of special circumstances. Ten copies of any prepared testimony should be submitted to the registration desk on the date of the meeting.
