    Economic Development Assistance to Qualified Businesses
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve or reject, in whole or in part, proposed modifications to gas Economic Development Programs filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4, 5 and 66
    Subject:
    Economic development assistance to qualified businesses.
    Purpose:
    Revisions to National Grid's Economic Development Programs.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to adopt, modify or reject a petition filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a/ National Grid requesting approval of modifications made to its gas Economic Development Program. The modifications propose adding a service class and allowing customer reimbursement of costs associated with analysis necessary for feasibility studies and cost effectiveness. The Commission may adopt, reject or modify the petition and address any related matters.
