Divisible Load Overweight Permit Insurance Compliance Requirements

PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Action taken:

Amendment to sections 154-2.3 and 154-2.10; addition of section 154-2.7; and repeal of section 154-2.8(b) of Title 17 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Vehicle and Traffic Law, paragraph (a) of subdivision 15 of section 385

Subject:

Divisible load overweight permit insurance compliance requirements.

Purpose:

To set forth in regulation existing insurance requirements for issuance of divisible load overweight permits and to streamline processes for compliance.
