Vocational Rehabiltation Program

PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:

Action taken:

Amendment of section 247.14 and addition of section 247.18 to Title 8 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Education Law, sections 101 (not subdivided), 207 (not subdivided) and 1004(1)

Subject:

Vocational Rehabilitation Program.

Purpose:

To provide the Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities more flexibility to establish educational and vocational training, room and board and book payment rates as the budgetary restraints of the program require.
