    Allowing NYSERDA to Allocate Uncommitted SBC III Funds to Support PEMC
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 12/19/13, the PSC adopted an order approving a petition by New York State Energy and Research Development (NYSERDA) to allocate uncommitted System Benefits Charge III (SBC) funds to support the Power Electronics Manufacturing Consortium (PEMC).
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(2) and 66(1)
    Subject:
    Allowing NYSERDA to allocate uncommitted SBC III funds to support PEMC.
    Purpose:
    To allow NYSERDA to allocate uncommitted SBC III funds to support PEMC.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on December 19, 2013, adopted an order approving a petition filed by New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to allocate $7.5 million in uncommitted System Benefit Charge funds to support the Power Electronics Manufacturing Consortium initiative, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
