    Request for Lightened Regulation of the Petitioners As Gas Corporations Subject to the Public Service Law
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve, reject or modify, in whole or in part, the petition of DMP New York, Inc. and Laser Northeast Gathering Company, LLC. for lightened regulation under Public Service Law Section 68.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 4(1)
    Subject:
    A request for lightened regulation of the petitioners as gas corporations subject to the Public Service Law.
    Purpose:
    To consider the petition of DMP New York, Inc. and Laser Northeast Gathering Company, LLC.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    In a petition filed September 21, 2010 (and supplemented on September 23, 2010) in Case 10-G-0462, DMP New York, Inc. and Laser Northeast Gathering Company, LLC (petitioners) seek an order providing for lightened regulation of the petitioners as gas corporations subject to the Public Service Law. This request is related to the petitioners' requests for licenses involving approval of the exercise of municipal consents granted by the Town of Windsor (Town), Broome County, and authorization of the construction and operation of a gas transmission line in the Town. The Commission may approve, reject or modify the petition, in whole or in part.
