PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of Appendix 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
Subject:
Jurisdictional Classification.
Purpose:
To delete a position from and classify a position in the exempt class.
Text of final rule:
Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Department of Agriculture and Markets, by deleting therefrom the position of Program Manager and by increasing the number of positions of Special Assistant from 7 to 8.
Originally had been submitted as increasing the number of positions of Special Assistant from 8 to 9 but the previous request increasing from 7 to 8 was disapproved by DOB.

Nonsubstantive changes were made in Appendix 1.
