PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a proposed tariff filing by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation to make various changes in its rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its Schedule for Gas Service, PSC No. 12—Gas.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Daily and monthly balancing and semi-annual settlement provisions.
Purpose:
To clarify the daily balancing and revise the monthly balancing and semi-annual settlement provisions.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a tariff filing by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) to clarify the daily balancing provisions and revise the monthly balancing and semi-annual settlement provisions contained in Central Hudson’s Retail Access Program. The proposed filing has an effective date of April 1, 2011. The Commission may make related changes to other utilities’ balancing provisions.
