PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:

Proposed Action:

Amendment of Appendix 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Civil Service Law, section 6(1)

Subject:

Jurisdictional Classification.

Purpose:

To delete positions from and classify a subheading and positions in the exempt class.

Text of proposed rule:

Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt, in Westchester County under the subheading “Department of Public Works,” by deleting therefrom the positions of First Deputy Commissioner of Public Works and Deputy Commissioner (Public Works) and by adding thereto the position of First Deputy Commissioner of Public Works and Transportation and, by adding thereto the subheading “Human Rights Commission,” and the position of Executive Director – Human Rights Commission.
