PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed action:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to accept or reject, in whole or in part, a petition filed by Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation for expedited approval of interim energy efficiency programs, deferral accounting, revenue decoupling mechanisms, and an interim economic incentive affecting both gas and electric customers of Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation.

Subject:
Energy efficiency programs, the accounting mechanisms related to such programs, a method for dealing with potential lost revenue, and an incentive mechanism associated with such programs.
Purpose:
To consider the proposed energy efficiency programs, the accounting mechanisms related to such programs, a method for dealing with potential lost revenue, and an incentive mechanism associated with such programs.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Public Service Commission is considering whether to accept or reject, in whole or in part, a petition filed by Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation for expedited approval of interim energy efficiency programs, deferral accounting, revenue decoupling mechanisms, and an interim economic incentive affecting both gas and electric customers of Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation. The Commission may also consider other related matters.
