PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
Update the service tariffs (ST-41, ST-42, and ST-43) applicable to the Power Authority's upstate investor-owned utility customers.
Statutory authority:
Public Authorities Law, section 1005(13); and chapter 32 of the Laws of New York of 1987
Subject:
Rates for the sale of power and energy.
Purpose:
Update upstate investor-owned utilities' service tariffs to streamline them and include additional required information.
Substance of proposed rule:
Pursuant to the New York Public Authorities Law, Section 1005(13) and Chapter 32 of the Laws of New York of 1987, the Power Authority of the State of New York (the "Authority") proposes to amend the Authority's current production service tariffs applicable to its upstate Investor-Owned Utilities customers.
The Authority proposes to reformat the service tariffs for easier reading, group provisions that relate to each other, include certain standard provisions that are applicable to all Authority service tariffs and add frequently used abbreviations and terms.
