    Extension of Purchase of Receivables (POR) Program for its Gas Business
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Commission is considering a petition filed by New York State Electric and Gas Corporation to extend its Purchase of Receivables (POR) program for its gas business beyond December 31, 2009.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 66
    Subject:
    Extension of Purchase of Receivables (POR) program for its gas business.
    Purpose:
    Consideration of Petition by New York State Electric and Gas Corporation to extend Purchase of Receivables (POR).
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Pubic Service Commission is considering whether to approve, deny or modify, in whole or in part, a petition by the New York State Electric and Gas Corporation to extend its Purchase of Receivable program for its gas business. The Commission shall consider all other related matters.
