    Property Transfer in the Village of Avon, New York
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Commission is considering whether to approve or reject a petition filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid to approve the transfer of property to the Village of Avon.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 70
    Subject:
    Property transfer in the Village of Avon, New York.
    Purpose:
    To consider a petition for the transfer of street lighting and attached equipment to the Village of Avon, New York.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission is considering whether to approve or reject a petition filed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid (National Grid) for the transfer of property, pursuant to Public Service Law § 70 from National Grid to the Village of Avon, New York. The property in question includes 15 street lights, their lamps and connecting electric cable currently located in the Village of Avon. National Grid proposes to transfer the property to the Village of Avon for $4,342.49. The Village of Avon will pay National Grid no other compensation.
