PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
Proposed Action:
The Commission is considering a proposed filing by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its Schedules for Electric Service, PSC Nos. 9, 2 and 4—Electricity.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Purpose:
To establish reactive power rates including provisions to customers operating on-site induction generators.
Substance of proposed rule:
The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject, in whole or in part, a proposed filing by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. to establish reactive power rates including provisions to service classes with customers operating on-site induction generators in compliance with Commission Order issued September 22, 2009 in Case 08-E-0751. The proposed revisions have an effective date of March 1, 2010.
