    Petition to Use Revenues for the Acquisition of Alteva, LLC
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 10/13/11, the PSC adopted an order approving the petition of Warwick Valley Telephone Company to use revenues received utility service in an amount not to exceed $13 million for the purpose of investing in the assets and business of Alteva, LLC.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 107
    Subject:
    Petition to use revenues for the acquisition of Alteva, LLC.
    Purpose:
    To approve the petition of Warwick Valley Telephone Company to use revenues for the acquisition of Alteva, LLC.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on October 13, 2011 adopted an order approving the petition of Warwick Valley Telephone Company to use revenues received from the rendition of utility service in an amount not to exceed $13 million for the purpose of investing in the assets and businesses of Alteva, LLC, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
