    Approval to Transfer of Stocks of Snow Lake Utilities Corporation
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Commission is considering whether to approve, modify or reject in whole or in part, a petition filed by Snow Lake Utilities Corporation to transfer its stock to a new owner.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 89-c(1), (10) and 89-h
    Subject:
    Approval to transfer of stocks of Snow Lake Utilities Corporation.
    Purpose:
    To allow Snow Lake Utilities Corporation to transfer its stock.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    On October 22, 2013, Snow Lake Utilities Corporation (Snow Lake or the company) filed a petition requesting the Public Service Commission’s approval to transfer its stock to a new owner. Snow Lake provides unmetered water service to 42 customers in a development known as Snow Lake located on Route 28 in the Town of Indian Lake, Hamilton County. Public fire protection service is not provided. The Commission may approve or reject, in whole or in part, or modify the company’s request.
