PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
Amendment of Part 101 of Title 17 NYCRR.
Statutory authority:
Highway Law, sections 29, 30, 85 and 347; Transportation Law, sections 14(18) and 228; and Canal Law, section 40
Subject:
Payment of moving and related expenses to displaced persons vacating property acquired by the Commissioner of Transportation.
Purpose:
Clarify and conform state regulations to federal regulations with respect to payment of relocation assistance benefits to displaced persons.
